    وَعَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: { بَعَثَنِي اَلنَّبِيُّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -فِي حَاجَةٍ, فَأَجْنَبْتُ, فَلَمْ أَجِدِ اَلْمَاءَ, فَتَمَرَّغْتُ فِي اَلصَّعِيدِ كَمَا تَمَرَّغُ اَلدَّابَّةُ, ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُ اَلنَّبِيَّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لَهُ, فَقَالَ: “إِنَّمَا كَانَ يَكْفِيكَ أَنْ تَقُولَ بِيَدَيْكَ هَكَذَا” ثُمَّ ضَرَبَ بِيَدَيْهِ اَلْأَرْضَ ضَرْبَةً وَاحِدَةً, ثُمَّ مَسَحَ اَلشِّمَالَ عَلَى اَلْيَمِينِ, وَظَاهِرَ كَفَّيْهِ وَوَجْهَهُ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ, وَاللَّفْظُ لِمُسْلِم ٍ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري (347)، ومسلم (368).

    Narrated `Ammar bin Yasir (RAA): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) sent me on some errands and I became junub (sexually impure), and could not find water. I rolled myself in the dirt just as an animal does. I then came to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and mentioned that to him. He said, “This would have been enough for you,” and he struck the earth with his hands once, then he wiped the right hand with the left one, and the outside of the palms of his hands and his face. [Agreed upon. The wording is that of Muslim’s].

    وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ اَلْخُدْرِيِّ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ إِذَا أَتَى أَحَدُكُمْ أَهْلَهُ, ثُمَّ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَعُودَ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ بَيْنَهُمَا وُضُوءًا } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِم ٌ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه مسلم (308).

    Narrated Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (rad): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “If one of you has sexual intercourse with his wife and wishes to repeat he should perform ablution between them” [Reported by Muslim].

    وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ لِلْبُخَارِيِّ: وَضَرَبَ بِكَفَّيْهِ اَلْأَرْضَ, وَنَفَخَ فِيهِمَا, ثُمَّ مَسَحَ بِهِمَا وَجْهَهُ وَكَفَّيْه ِ 1 . 1 – البخاري رقم (338).

    In a version by Al-Bukhari, `Ammar said: ‘He (صلى الله عليه وسلم) struck the earth with the palms of his hands, blew in them and wiped his face and hands with them.

    زَادَ اَلْحَاكِمُ: { فَإِنَّهُ أَنْشَطُ لِلْعَوْدِ } 1 . 1 – مستدرك الحاكم (152) وهي زيادة صحيحة أيضا.

    A-Hakim added: “Ablution makes one active for repeating (the sexual act).”

    وَعَنِ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ التَّيَمُّمُ ضَرْبَتَانِ ضَرْبَةٌ لِلْوَجْهِ, وَضَرْبَةٌ لِلْيَدَيْنِ إِلَى اَلْمِرْفَقَيْنِ } رَوَاهُ اَلدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَ اَلْأَئِمَّةُ وَقْفَه ُ 1 . 1 – ضعيف جدا. رواه الدارقطني (1806).

    Narrated Ibn `Umar (RAA): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Tayammum is two strikes: one for the face and one for the hands up to the elbows.” Reported by Ad-Daraqutni

    وَلِلْأَرْبَعَةِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَنَامُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ, مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً } وَهُوَ مَعْلُول ٌ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه أبو داود (228) والنسائي في “الكبرى”، والترمذي (118 و 119)، وابن ماجه (583). وأما عن تعليل من أعله فتفصيل ذلك في “الأصل” إذ ليست كل علة تقدح في صحة الحديث. وانظر أيضا “ناسخ الحديث ومنسوخه” لابن شاهين (129) بتحقيقي.

    Narrated ‘Aisha (rad): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) used to sleep in the state of sexual impurity without touching water. [Reported by Al-Arba’a. This Hadith is defective].

    وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ اَلصَّعِيدُ وُضُوءُ اَلْمُسْلِمِ, وَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدِ اَلْمَاءَ عَشْرَ سِنِينَ, فَإِذَا وَجَدَ اَلْمَاءَ فَلْيَتَّقِ اَللَّهَ, وَلْيُمِسَّهُ بَشَرَتَهُ } رَوَاهُ اَلْبَزَّارُ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ اَلْقَطَّانِ, ]و] لَكِنْ صَوَّبَ اَلدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ إِرْسَالَه ُ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البزار (310 زوائد) وما بعده يشهد له.

    Narrated Abu Hurairah (RAA): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “The soil is a purifier for a Muslim, even if he does not find water for ten years; but if he finds water, he must fear Allah and let it touch his skin.”

    عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ اَلْخُدْرِيِّ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ اَلْمَاءُ مِنْ اَلْمَاءِ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِم ٌ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه مسلم (343)، عن أبي سعيد الخدري قال: خرجت مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم الاثنين إلى قباء، حتى إذا كنا في بني سالم، وقف رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم على باب عتبان. فصرخ به، فخرج يجر إزاره، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: “أعجلنا الرجل” فقال عتبان: يا رسول الله. أرأيت الرجل يعجل عن امرأته ولم يمن ماذا عليه ؟ قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: “إنما…” الحديث .

    Narrated Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (rad): Allah’s Mesenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “The water (of the ghusl) is due to the water (of sexual emission)”. [Reported by Muslim]

    وَأَصْلُهُ فِي اَلْبُخَارِيّ ِ 1 . 1 – البخاري. ( 180 )، ولفظه: “إذا أعجلت -أو قحطت- فعليك الوضوء” وهو رواية لمسلم.

    وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ إِذَا جَلَسَ بَيْنَ شُعَبِهَا اَلْأَرْبَعِ, ثُمَّ جَهَدَهَا, فَقَدْ وَجَبَ اَلْغُسْلُ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري (291)، ومسلم (348).

    Narrated Abu Huraira (rad): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said that, “If one of you sits between her legs (of a woman) and penetrates her, Ghusl (bath) is obligatory.” [Agreed upon].
