    وَعَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَتْ: { أُمِرْنَا أَنْ نُخْرِجَ اَلْعَوَاتِقَ, وَالْحُيَّضَ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ; يَشْهَدْنَ الْخَيْرَ وَدَعْوَةَ اَلْمُسْلِمِينَ, وَيَعْتَزِلُ اَلْحُيَّضُ اَلْمُصَلَّى } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري (324)، ومسلم (890) مع مراعاة أن الحافظ قد تصرف في اللفظ.

    Narrated Umm ‘Atiyah (RA): We were commanded to bring out on ‘Eidul-Fitr and ‘Eidul-Adha, the young women and the menstruating women to participate in the goodness and supplications of the Muslims. However, the menstruating women would refrain from the (actual) place of prayer. [Agreed upon].

    وَعَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ: { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -صَلَّى صَلَاةَ اَلْخَوْفِ بِهَؤُلَاءِ رَكْعَةً, وَبِهَؤُلَاءِ رَكْعَةً, وَلَمْ يَقْضُوا } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَالنَّسَائِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه أحمد (5/385 و 399)، وأبو داود (1246)، والنسائي (3/167-168)، ولا أظن أن عزوه لابن حبان إلا من باب الوهم والخطأ. والله أعلم.

    Narrated Hudhaifah (RA): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) performed Salatal-Khauf leading these (Companions) in one Rak’ah and those (other Companions) in one Rak’ah, and they did not make up the second Rak’ah. [Reported by Ahmad, Abu Dawud and an-Nasa’i. Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic)].

    وَمِثْلُهُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ: عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ 1 . 1 – رقم (1344) بسند صحيح، إلا أنه لم يذكر لفظه، وإنما أحال على لفظ حديث حذيفة.

    Ibn Khuzaimah has reported it similarly from Ibn ‘Abbas (RA).

    وَعَنِ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ صَلَاةُ اَلْخَوْفِ رَكْعَةٌ عَلَى أَيِّ وَجْهٍ كَانَ } رَوَاهُ اَلْبَزَّارُ بِإِسْنَادٍ ضَعِيفٍ 1 . 1 – منكر. رواه البزار (678 كشف) وعنده زيادة: “الرجل تجزئ عنه” وعنده أيضا “صلاة المسابقة” مكان “صلاة الخوف”.

    Narrated Ibn ‘Umar (RA): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “The prayer in time of danger is one Rak’ah, in whatever manner it is (performed).” [al-Bazzar reported it through a weak chain of narrators].

    وَعَنْهُ مَرْفُوعًا: { لَيْسَ فِي صَلَاةِ اَلْخَوْفِ سَهْوٌ } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ بِإِسْنَادٍ ضَعِيفٍ 1 . 1 – ضعيف. رواه الدارقطني (2/58/1) وضعفه.

    Narrated [Ibn ‘Umar (RA)]: (This Hadith is) attributed to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) “There is no Sahw (prostration for forgetfulness) in the prayer in time of danger.” [ad-Daraqutni reported it through a weak chain of narrators].

    عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ الْفِطْرُ يَوْمَ يُفْطِرُ اَلنَّاسُ, وَالْأَضْحَى يَوْمَ يُضَحِّي اَلنَّاسُ } رَوَاهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه الترمذي (802) من حديث محمد بن المنكدر، عن عائشة رضي الله عنها. وأقول: هو حديث صحيح، إلا أنه ضعيف من هذا الوجه، وبيان ذلك “بالأصل”.

    Narrated ‘Aishah (RA): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “(‘Eid) al-Fitr is the day on which the people break the fast, and (‘Eid) al-Adha is the day the people offer sacrifices.” [Reported by at-Tirmidhi].

    وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -]إِذَا [ 1 اسْتَوَى عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ اسْتَقْبَلْنَاهُ بِوُجُوهِنَا } رَوَاهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, بِإِسْنَادٍ ضَعِيفٍ . 2 . 1 – سقط من”أ”. 2 – صحيح. رواه الترمذي (509) وهو وإن كان ضعيف السند، بل موضوع؛ فإنه من رواية محمد بن الفضل بن عطية، وهو كذاب، إلا أنه كما قال الترمذي: “والعمل على هذا عند أهل العلم من أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وغيرهم، يستحبون استقبال الإمام إذا خطب”. قلت: وما ذلك إلا من أجل كثرة الآثار الواردة عن الصحابة في ذلك، مع وجود أحدها في “صحيح البخاري”، وفي رسالتي “سنن مهجورة” بيان لهذه السنة، وما ورد فيها من آثار.

    Narrated ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud (RA): Whenever Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ascended the Minbar (to give the Friday Khutbah), we used to face him. [at-Tirmidhi reported it through a weak chain of narrators].

    وَلَهُ شَاهِدٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْبَرَاءِ عِنْدَ اِبْنِ خُزَيْمَة َ 1 . 1 – لم أجده في المطبوع، والله أعلم.

    It has a Shahid (supporting narration) in the Hadith of al-Bara’, reported by Ibn Khuzaimah.

    وَعَنِ اَلْحَكَمِ بْنِ حَزْنٍ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: { شَهِدْنَا الْجُمُعَةَ مَعَ اَلنَّبِيِّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -فَقَامَ مُتَوَكِّئًا عَلَى عَصًا أَوْ قَوْسٍ } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد َ 1 . 1 – حسن. رواه أبو داود (1096) ولفظه: عن الحكم بن حزن قال: وفدت إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سابع سبعة، أو تاسع تسعة، فدخلنا عليه فقلنا: يا رسول الله! زرناك فادع الله لنا بخير -فأمر بنا، أو أمر لنا بشيء من التمر، والشأن إذا ذاك دون-فأقمنا بها أياما، شهدنا فيها الجمعة مع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقام متوكئا على عصا أو قوس، فحمد الله، وأثنى عليه كلمات خفيفات طيبات مباركات، ثم قال: “أيها الناس! إنكم لن تطيقوا -أو: لن تفعلوا- كل ما أمرتم به، ولكن سددوا وأبشروا”.

    Narrated al-Hakam bin Hazn (RA): We attended the Friday prayer with the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and he (صلى الله عليه وسلم) stood leaning on a staff or a bow. [Reported by Abu Dawud].

    عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ خَوَّاتٍ, { عَمَّنْ صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَوْمَ ذَاتِ اَلرِّقَاعِ صَلَاةَ اَلْخَوْفِ: أَنَّ طَائِفَةً صَلَّتْ 1 مَعَهُ وَطَائِفَةٌ وِجَاهَ اَلْعَدُوِّ, فَصَلَّى بِاَلَّذِينَ مَعَهُ رَكْعَةً, ثُمَّ ثَبَتَ قَائِمًا وَأَتَمُّوا لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ, ثُمَّ اِنْصَرَفُوا فَصَفُّوا وِجَاهَ اَلْعَدُوِّ, وَجَاءَتِ اَلطَّائِفَةُ اَلْأُخْرَى, فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ اَلرَّكْعَةَ اَلَّتِي بَقِيَتْ, ثُمَّ ثَبَتَ جَالِسًا وَأَتَمُّوا لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ, ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ بِهِمْ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ, وَهَذَا لَفْظُ مُسْلِمٍ 2 . 1 – في البخاري، ومسلم: “صفت”، وهو هكذا في بعض طبعات “البلوغ” وشرحه “السبل” وفي بعضها زيادة: “من أصحابه صلى الله عليه وسلم” وهي ليست في “الصحيحين”. 2 – صحيح. رواه البخاري (4129)، ومسلم (842).

    Narrated Salih bin Khawwat on the authority of one who offered the Fear prayer with Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) at the battle of Dhatur-Riqa’ that a group (of the army) formed a line along with him and a group faced the enemy. He (صلى الله عليه وسلم) led the group which was with him in a Rak’ah, and then remained standing while they finished their prayer by themselves. They then departed and lined up facing the enemy, and the other party came. He led them in the remaining Rak’a (of his prayer), after which he remained sitting while they finished their prayer by themselves. He then led them in uttering the Taslim (salutation). [Agreed upon; and this is the wording of Muslim].
