Bab 11
باب يَمِينِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ الَّتِي كَانَ يَحْلِفُ بِهَا
Chapter: The swearing of the Messenger of Allah (saws) by which he would take an oath
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ أَبُو طَاهِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ “ لاَ نَذْرَ فِي مَعْصِيَةٍ وَكَفَّارَتُهُ كَفَّارَةُ يَمِينٍ ” .
It was narrated from ‘Aishah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “There is no vow to commit disobedience, and the expiation (for such a vow) is the expiation for breaking an oath.”
