باب فَضْلِ الْجِهَادِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
Chapter: The virtue of Jihad in the cause of Allah
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو رَافِعٍ، – هُوَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ – عَنْ سُمَىٍّ، – مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ – عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم “ مَنْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَلَيْسَ لَهُ أَثَرٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ وَفِيهِ ثُلْمَةٌ ” .
It was
narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
said: “Whoever meets Allah with no mark on him (as a result of
fighting)
in His cause, he will meet Him with a deficiency.”
