باب فَضْلِ الْجِهَادِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
Chapter: The virtue of Jihad in the cause of Allah
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي الْحَكَمِ، – مَوْلَى بَنِي لَيْثٍ – عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم “ لاَ سَبَقَ إِلاَّ فِي خُفٍّ أَوْ حَافِرٍ ” .
It was
narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
said: “There should be no prizes for racing except races with camels
and
horses.”
