Bab 2
باب قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { وَأَنْزَلْنَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ مَاءً طَهُورًا } وَقَالَ تَعَالَى { فَلَمْ تَجِدُوا مَاءً فَتَيَمَّمُوا صَعِيدًا طَيِّبًا }
Chapter: Allah, The Mighty and Sublime, says: And We sent down pure water from the sky. [1] And He, the Mighty and Sublime, says: And He caused water to descend on you from the sky, to clean you thereby. [2] And He, the Most High, says: And you find no water, then perform Tayammum with clean earth [3]
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ “ اللَّهُمَّ اغْسِلْ خَطَايَاىَ بِمَاءِ الثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ وَنَقِّ قَلْبِي مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ ” .
It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: ‘Allahummaghsil khatayaya bi-ma’ith-thalj wal-barad was naqqi qalbi min al-khataya kama naqayta ath-thawb al-abyad min ad-danas (O Allah, wash away my sins with the water of snow and hail, and cleanse my heart of snow and hail, and cleanse my heart of sin as a white garment is cleansed of filth).’”
