باب لِبَاسِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
Chapter: The clothing of the Messenger of Allah (saws)
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ الْمَكِّيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ “ خَيْرُ ثِيَابِكُمُ الْبَيَاضُ فَالْبَسُوهَا وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ ” .
It was
narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)
said: “The best of your garments are the white ones, so wear them and
shroud your dead in them.”
