باب لِبَاسِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ
Chapter: The clothing of the Messenger of Allah (saws)
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، سَمِعَ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ، وَسُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ، يُخْبِرَانِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ “ إِنَّ الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى لاَ يَصْبُغُونَ فَخَالِفُوهُمْ ” .
It was
narrated that Abu Hurairah attributed to the Prophet (ﷺ): “The
Jews and the Christians do not dye (their hair), so differ from
them.”
