باب مَا جَاءَ فِي مِقْدَارِ الْمَاءِ لِلْوُضُوءِ وَالْغُسْلِ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ
Chapter: The quantity of water required for ablution and bathing from a state of sexual impurity
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ “ إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قُلَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثًا لَمْ يُنَجِّسْهُ شَىْءٌ ” . قَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَاتِمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، وَأَبُو سَلَمَةَ وَابْنُ عَائِشَةَ الْقُرَشِيُّ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ .
It was narrated from ‘Ubaidullah bin ‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar that his father said: “The Messenger of Allah said: ‘If the water is the amount of two or three Qullah, nothing can make it impure (Najis).’” (Sahih)
