adab 31 Supplication كتاب الدعاء 117

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي الزُّهْرِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي ثَابِتٌ الزُّرَقِيُّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: الرِّيحُ مِنْ رَوْحِ اللهِ، تَأْتِي بِالرَّحْمَةِ وَالْعَذَابِ، فَلاَ تَسُبُّوهَا، وَلَكِنْ سَلُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ خَيْرِهَا، وَتَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّهَا.

It is stated by sayidina Abu Hurayrah (ra) that the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said “Wind is the mercy of Allah. It brings mercy or punishment. Do not denounce it but ask Allah, the exalted, for the good of it and seek the protection of Allah from its evil.”
