adab 42 Greetings كتاب السَّلامِ 32

حَدَّثَنَا أَصْبَغُ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ هَانِئٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ فَضَالَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: يُسَلِّمُ الْفَارِسُ عَلَى الْقَاعِدِ، وَالْقَلِيلُ عَلَى الْكَثِيرِ.

Fadala reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “The person riding greets the person sitting and the small group greets the larger.”
