    سُبْـحانَ ذي الْجَبَـروت، والمَلَكـوت، والكِبْـرِياء، وَالعَظَمَـةِ.


    English Translation:

    Subḥāna dhi ’l-jabarūti, wa ’l-malakūti, wa ‘l-kibriyā’i, wa ‘l-aẓamati.

    Glory is to the master of power, sovereignty, of majesty and greatness.

    اللّهُـمَّ اغْفِـرْ لي ذَنْـبي كُلَّـه ،
    دِقَّـهُ وَجِلَّـه ،
    وَأَوَّلَـهُ وَآخِـرَه ،
    وَعَلانِيَّتَـهُ وَسِـرَّه


    English Translation:

    Allāhumma’ghfir lī dhanbī kullahu,
    diqqahu wa jillahu,
    wa awwalahu wa ākhirahu
    wa `alāniyyatahu wa sirrahu.

    O Allah, forgive me all my sins,
    great and small,
    the first and the last,
    those that are apparent and those that are hidden.

    اللّهُـمَّ إِنِّـي أَعـوذُ بِرِضـاكَ مِنْ سَخَطِـك ، وَبِمعـافاتِـكَ مِنْ عُقوبَـتِك ،
    وَأَعـوذُ بِكَ مِنْـك ،
    لا أُحْصـي ثَنـاءً عَلَـيْك ،
    أَنْـتَ كَمـا أَثْنَـيْتَ عَلـى نَفْسـِك


    English Translation:

    Allāhumma innī a`ūdhu biriḍāka min sakhaṭika,
    wa bimu`āfātika min `uqūbatika
    wa a`ūdhu bika minka
    lā uḥṣī thanā’an `alayka
    anta kamā athnayta `alā nafsika.

    O Allah, I seek protection in Your pleasure from Your anger,
    and I seek protection in Your forgiveness from Your punishment.
    I seek protection in You from You.
    I cannot count Your praises.
    You are as You have praised Yourself.

    رَبِّ اغْفِـرْ لي ، رَبِّ اغْفِـرْ لي


    English Translation:

    Rabbi’ghfir lī, Rabbi’ghfir lī.

    Lord, forgive me. My Lord, forgive me.

  • Chapter: Between the two prostrations

    اللّهُـمَّ اغْفِـرْ لي ، وَارْحَمْـني ،
    وَاهْدِنـي ، وَاجْبُرْنـي ،
    وَعافِنـي وَارْزُقْنـي وَارْفَعْـني


    English Translation:

    Allāhumma’ghfir lī, war’ḥamnī,
    wahdinī, wajburnī,
    wa `āfinī, warzuqnī, warfa`nī.

    O Allah forgive me, have mercy on me,
    guide me, support me,
    protect me, provide for me, and elevate me.

  • Chapter: When prostrating due to recitation of the Quran

    Status Reference : Hisn al-Muslim 50

    سَجَـدَ وَجْهـي للَّـذي خَلَقَـهُ
    وَشَقَّ سَمْـعَـهُ وَبَصَـرَهُ بِحَـوْلِـهِ وَقُـوَّتِهِ
    ﴿فتَبـارَكَ اللهُ أَحْسَـنُ الخـالِقيـن﴾.


    English Translation:

    Sajada wajhiya lilladhī khalaqahu,
    wa shaqqa sam`ahu wa baṣarahu biḥawlihi wa quwwatihi.
    Fatabārakallāhu ‘aḥsanul-khāliqīn.

    I have prostrated my face to the One Who created it,
    and gave it hearing and sight by His might and His power.
    Glory is to Allah, the Best of creators.

  • Chapter: When prostrating due to recitation of the Quran

    Status Reference : Hisn al-Muslim 51

    اللّهُـمَّ اكْتُـبْ لي بِهـا عِنْـدَكَ أَجْـراً ،
    وَضَـعْ عَنِّـي بِهـا وِزْراً ،
    وَاجْعَـلها لي عِنْـدَكَ ذُخْـراً ،
    وَتَقَبَّـلها مِنِّي كَمَا تَقَبَّلْتَهَا مِنْ عَبْدِكَ دَاوُدَ.


    English Translation:

    Allāhummak’tub lī bihā `indaka ajra,
    waḍa` `annī bihā wizra,
    waj`alhā lī `indaka dhukhra,
    wa taqabbal’hā minnī kamā taqabbal’tahā min `abdika Dāwūd.

    O Allah, write it as a reward for me,
    and release me from a burden for it,
    and make it a treasure for me with You.
    Accept it from me as You accepted it from your servant Dawud.

  • Chapter: The Tashahhud

    Status Reference : Hisn al-Muslim 52

    التَّحِيّـاتُ للهِ وَالصَّلَـواتُ والطَّيِّـبات ،
    السَّلامُ عَلَيـكَ أَيُّهـا النَّبِـيُّ وَرَحْمَـةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكـاتُه ،
    السَّلامُ عَلَيْـناوَعَلـى عِبـادِ للهِ الصَّـالِحـين .
    أَشْـهَدُ أَنْ لا إِلـهَ إِلاّ الله ،
    وَأَشْـهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمّـداً عَبْـدُهُ وَرَسـولُه


    English Translation:

    Attaḥiyyātu lillāhi waṣṣalawātu, waṭṭayyibāt,
    assalāmu `alayka ‘ayyuhan-Nabiyyu
    wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,
    assalāmu `alaynā wa `alā ‘ibādillāhiṣ-ṣāliḥīn.
    ‘Ash-hadu ‘an lā ‘ilāha ‘illallāh
    wa ‘ash-hadu ‘anna Muḥammadan `abduhu wa rasūluh.

    All greetings of humility are for Allah, and all prayers and goodness.
    Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
    Peace be upon us and upon the righteous slaves of Allah. I bear witness
    that there is none worthy of worship but Allah, and I bear witness that
    Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger.

  • Chapter: Prayers upon the Prophet ﷺ after the tashahhud

    Status Reference : Hisn al-Muslim 53

    اللّهُـمَّ صَلِّ عَلـى مُحمَّـد، وَعَلـى آلِ مُحمَّد،
    كَمـا صَلَّيـتَ عَلـى إبْراهـيمَ وَعَلـى آلِ إبْراهـيم،
    إِنَّكَ حَمـيدٌ مَجـيد ،
    اللّهُـمَّ بارِكْ عَلـى مُحمَّـد، وَعَلـى آلِ مُحمَّـد،
    كَمـا بارِكْتَ عَلـى إبْراهـيمَ وَعَلـى آلِ إبْراهيم،
    إِنَّكَ حَمـيدٌ مَجـيد


    English Translation:

    Allāhumma ṣalli `alā Muḥammadinwa `alā ’āli Muḥammadin,
    kamā ṣallayta `alā ‘Ibrāhīma wa `alā ’āli ‘Ibrāhīma, ‘innaka ḥamīdum-majīd.
    Allāhumma bārik `alā Muḥammadin wa `alā ’āli Muḥammadin,
    kamā bārakta `alā ‘Ibrāhīma wa `alā ‘āli ‘Ibrāhīma,
    ‘innaka ḥamīdum-majīd.

    O Allah, bestow Your favor on Muhammad and on the family of Muhammad as You have bestowed Your favor on Ibrahim and on the family of Ibrahim, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.
    O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You have blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim, You are Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.

  • Chapter: Prayers upon the Prophet ﷺ after the tashahhud

    Status Reference : Hisn al-Muslim 54

    اللّهُـمَّ صَلِّ عَلـى مُحمَّـدٍ
    وَعَلـى أَزْواجِـهِ وَذُرِّيَّـتِه،
    كَمـا صَلَّيْـتَ عَلـى آلِ إبْراهـيم .
    وَبارِكْ عَلـى مُحمَّـدٍ
    وَعَلـى أَزْواجِـهِ وَذُرِّيَّـتِه،
    كَمـا بارِكْتَ عَلـى آلِ إبْراهـيم .
    إِنَّكَ حَمـيدٌ مَجـيد


    English Translation:

    Allāhumma ṣalli `alā Muḥammadin
    wa `alā ‘azwājihi wa dhurriyyatihi,
    kamā ṣallayta `alā ‘āli ‘Ibrāhīma.
    Wa bārik `alā Muḥammadin
    wa `alā ‘azwājihi wa dhurriyyatihi,
    kamā bārakta `alā ‘āli ‘Ibrāhīma.
    ‘Innaka ḥamīdum-majīd.

    O Allah, bestow Your favor on Muhammad and upon his wives and progeny as You have bestowed Your favor upon the family of Ibrahim.
    And bless Muhammad and his wives and progeny as You have blessed the family of Ibrahim, You are full of praise, Most Glorious.
