وَعَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ – رضى الله عنه – { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ غَزْوَةً وَرَّى بِغَيْرِهَا } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 2947 )، ومسلم ( 2769 ) ( 54 ). ورى: أي سترها وأوهم غيرها.

Ka’b bin Malik (RAA) narrated that Whenever the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) intended to go out on a battle, he would pretend to head in a different destination. Agreed upon.
