وَعَنِ اِبْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ, عَنْ أَبِيهِ; { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -حَجَرَ عَلَى مُعَاذٍ مَالَهُ, وَبَاعَهُ فِي دَيْنٍ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ } رَوَاهُ اَلدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلْحَاكِمُ, وَأَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ مُرْسَلًا, وَرُجِّحَ 1 . 1 – ضعيف مرفوعا. والصحيح فيه الإرسال كما رجح ذلك غير واحد، وقد تكلمت عليه مفصلا في ” الأقضية النبوية ” لابن الطلاع.

Narrated Ibn Ka’b bin Malik (RA) on the authority of his father: Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) seized the wealth of Mu’adh and sold it in return for a debt he was indebted for. [ad-Daraqutni reported it, and al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic). Abu Dawud reported it as Mursal (missing link after the Tabi’i) and considered that the strongest opinion is that it is Mursal].
