باب فِي فَضْلِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم
Chapter: What Has Been Related About The Virtue Of The Prophet (SAW)
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ شَرِيكٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ رُبَّمَا قَالَ لِيَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم “ يَا ذَا الأُذُنَيْنِ ” . قَالَ أَبُو أُسَامَةَ يَعْنِي يُمَازِحُهُ . هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Narrated Anas bin Malik: that the Prophet (ﷺ) said to him: “O possessor of two ears!” (One of the narrators) Abu Usamah said: ‘He only meant it as a joke.’
