question #2 Sahih al-Bukhari 3306, Book 59, Hadith 114 : How should one approach conflicting reports about the Prophet’s (ﷺ) instructions on dealing with certain animals?

The Prophet (ﷺ) called the Salamander, a mischief-doer. I have not heard him ordering that it should be
killed. Sa`d bin Waqqas claims that the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered that it should be killed.
