question #3 Sahih al-Bukhari 5183, Book 67, Hadith 118 : What role did women play in hosting and serving guests in early Islamic society?

Abu Usaid As-Sa`idi invited the Prophet (ﷺ) to his wedding party and his wife served him on that day,
and she was the bride. She said (or Sahl said), “Do you know what she soaked for Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)?
She soaked some dates for him (in water) in a drinking bowl overnight.”
