Ibn `Umar said, “The Prophet (ﷺ) fixed Qarn as the Miqat (for assuming the Ihram) for the people of
Najd, and Al-Juhfa for the people of Sham, and Dhul-Hulaifa for the people of Medina.” Ibn `Umar
added, “I heard this from the Prophet, and I have been informed that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, ‘The Miqat for
the Yemenites is Yalamlam.’ “When Iraq was mentioned, he said, “At that time it was not a Muslim
country.”
