How many rak’ahs and prostrations are involved in the eclipse prayer as practiced by the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)?

A

Kathir b. ‘Abbas narrated on the authority of Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) observed four rak’ahs and four prostrations in two rak’ahs.
