باب فَرْضِ الْخُمُسِ
Chapter: The obligations of Khumus
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِلاَلٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ “ مَا أُعْطِيكُمْ وَلاَ أَمْنَعُكُمْ، أَنَا قَاسِمٌ أَضَعُ حَيْثُ أُمِرْتُ ” .
Abu Huraira: Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “Neither do I give you (anything) nor withhold (anything)
from you, but I am just a distributor (i.e. Qasim), and I give as I am ordered.”
