باب مَا فِيهِ الْعُشْرُ أَوْ نِصْفُ الْعُشْرِ
Chapter: On what one-tenth or half of one-tenth is due
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ، بَشَّارٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَجَدَ تَمْرَةً فَقَالَ “ لَوْلاَ أَنْ تَكُونَ صَدَقَةً لأَكَلْتُهَا ” .
Anas b. Malik reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) found a date and said: Were it not (that I fear) it may be part of sadaqa, I would have eaten it.
