باب يُسَلِّمُ الرَّاكِبُ عَلَى الْمَاشِي وَالْقَلِيلُ عَلَى الْكَثِيرِ
Chapter: The One Who Is Riding Should Greet The One Who Is Walking, And The Smaller Group Should Greet The Larger Group
وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ
اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ “ عُذِّبَتِ امْرَأَةٌ فِي هِرَّةٍ لَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَسْقِهَا وَلَمْ تَتْرُكْهَا
تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الأَرْضِ ” .
اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ “ عُذِّبَتِ امْرَأَةٌ فِي هِرَّةٍ لَمْ تُطْعِمْهَا وَلَمْ تَسْقِهَا وَلَمْ تَتْرُكْهَا
تَأْكُلُ مِنْ خَشَاشِ الأَرْضِ ” .
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: A woman was punished because of a cat. She had neither provided her with food nor drink, nor set her free so that she might eat the vermin of the earth.
