باب مَا جَاءَ فِي الْهِجْرَةِ وَسُكْنَى الْبَدْوِ
Chapter: What Has Been Reported About Hijrah (Emigration) And Living In The Desert Areas
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ، قَالَ كَانَتْ قَبِيعَةُ سَيْفِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِضَّةً . قَالَ قَتَادَةُ وَمَا عَلِمْتُ أَحَدًا تَابَعَهُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ .
Narrated Sa’id ibn AbulHasan: The pommel of the sword of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was of silver. Qatadah said: I do not know that anyone has supported him for that (for the tradition narrated by Sa’id b. Abu al-Hasan).
