باب الْحَثِّ عَلَى طَلَبِ الْعِلْمِ
Chapter: Regarding the virtue of knowledge
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْوَزِيرِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، قَالَ لَقِيتُ شَبِيبَ بْنَ شَيْبَةَ فَحَدَّثَنِي بِهِ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سَوْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، – يَعْنِي عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم – بِمَعْنَاهُ .
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by Abu al-Darda through a different chain of narrators to the same effect from the Holy Prophet (ﷺ)
