    وَعَنِ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا; أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { يَأْتِي أَحَدَكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ, فَيَنْفُخُ فِي مَقْعَدَتِهِ فَيُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُ أَحْدَثَ, وَلَمْ يُحْدِثْ, فَإِذَا وَجَدَ ذَلِكَ فَلَا يَنْصَرِفُ حَتَّى يَسْمَعَ صَوْتًا أَوْ يَجِدَ رِيحًا } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْبَزَّار ُ 1 . 1 – رواه البزار (281).

    Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas (rad): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Satan comes to one of you in Salat and blows air in his bottom, so he imagines that he has realised air yet he did not. So if he gets that feeling he should not leave his prayer unless he hears the sound (of the air) or smells its odour.” [Reported by Al-Bazzar].

    وَعَنْ طَلْقِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: { قَالَ رَجُلٌ: مَسَسْتُ ذَكَرِي أَوْ قَالَ اَلرَّجُلُ يَمَسُّ ذَكَرَهُ فِي اَلصَّلَاةِ, أَعَلَيْهِ وُضُوءٍ ? فَقَالَ اَلنَّبِيُّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -“لَا, إِنَّمَا هُوَ بَضْعَةٌ مِنْكَ } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّان َ 1 . 1 – حسن. رواه أبو داود (182 و 183)، والنسائي (101)، والترمذي (85)، وابن ماجه (483)، وأحمد (43)، وابن حبان (207 موارد). ولكن ينبغي معرفة أن هذا الحديث منسوخ، إذ قال ابن حزم في “المحلي” (139) ولنعم ما قال: “هذا الخبر -خبر طلق- صحيح إلا أنهم لا حجة لهم فيه لوجوه: أحدها: أن هذا الخبر موافق لما كان الناس عليه قبل ورود الأمر بالوضوء من مس الفرج، هذا لا شك فيه، فإذا هو كذلك فحكمه منسوخ يقينا حين أمر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بالوضوء من مس الفرج، ولا يحل ترك ما تيقن أنه ناسخ، والأخذ بما تيقن أنه منسوخ. وثانيها: أن كلامه عليه السلام: “هل هو إلا بضعة منك؟” دليل بين على أنه كان قبل الأمر بالوضوء منه؛ لأنه لو كان بعده لم يقل عليه السلام هذا الكلام، بل كان يبين أن الأمر بذلك قد نسخ، وقوله هذا يدل على أنه لم يكن سلف فيه حكم أصلا، وأنه كسائر الأعضاء” .

    Narrated Talq bin ‘Ali (rad): A man said: “I touched my penis” or he said, “Does a man who touch his penis during the prayer should perform Wudu (ablution)?” The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) replied, “No, it is only a part of your body”. [Reported by Al-Khamsa. Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (sound).

    وَقَالَ اِبْنُ اَلْمَدِينِيِّ: هُوَ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ بُسْرَةَ.

    and Ibn Al-Madini said, “It is better than the Hadith of Busra”.

    وَعَنْ بُسْرَةَ بِنْتِ صَفْوَانَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا; { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: “مَنْ مَسَّ ذَكَرَهُ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ” } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ, وَابْنُ حِبَّان َ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه أبو داود (181)، والنسائي (100)، والترمذي (82)، وابن ماجه (479)، وأحمد (6 /406)، وابن حبان (212 موارد). وقد أعل هذا الحديث بما لا يقدح، كما هو مبين “بالأصل”.

    Narrated Busra bint Safwan (rad): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “He who touches his penis should perform ablution”. [Reported by Al-Khamsa, and At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (sound).

    وَقَالَ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ: هُوَ أَصَحُّ شَيْءٍ فِي هَذَا اَلْبَابِ.

    and Al-Bukhari said, “It is the most authentic in this chapter”.

    وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا; أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: { مَنْ أَصَابَهُ قَيْءٌ أَوْ رُعَافٌ, أَوْ قَلَسٌ, أَوْ مَذْيٌ فَلْيَنْصَرِفْ فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ, ثُمَّ لِيَبْنِ عَلَى صَلَاتِهِ, وَهُوَ فِي ذَلِكَ لَا يَتَكَلَّمُ } أَخْرَجَهُ اِبْنُ مَاجَ ه 1 . 1 – ضعيف. رواه ابن ماجه (1221).

    Narrated ‘Aisha (rad): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Whoever vomits, bleeds through the nose, or released Madhi (urethral discharge) should go, perform ablution and then complete his Salat (prayer) (by continuing from where he had stopped at) on condition that he does not speak in the process”. Reported by Ibn Majah

    وَعَنْ عُمَرَ -مَوْقُوفًا- و]عَنْ] أَنَسٍ -مَرْفُوعًا-: { إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَلَبِسَ خُفَّيْهِ فَلْيَمْسَحْ عَلَيْهِمَا, وَلْيُصَلِّ فِيهِمَا, وَلَا يَخْلَعْهُمَا إِنْ شَاءَ إِلَّا مِنْ جَنَابَةٍ” } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ, وَالْحَاكِمُ وَصَحَّحَه ُ 1 . 1 – انظر الدارقطني (103 – 204)، والحاكم (181) .

    Narrated ‘Umar (rad), in a Mawquf (untraceable) and Anas in a Marfu (traceable) Hadith: “If one of you performs ablution and puts on his two leather socks, let him perform Mash (wipe) over them and pray in them and he may not take them off he so wishes except after ejaculation or sexual impurity. [Reported by Ad-Daraqutni and Al-Hakim and graded Sahih (sound) by him].

    وَعَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ – رضى الله عنه – عَنْ اَلنَّبِيِّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ أَنَّهُ رَخَّصَ لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيَهُنَّ, وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً, إِذَا تَطَهَّرَ فَلَبِسَ خُفَّيْهِ: أَنْ يَمْسَحَ عَلَيْهِمَا } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ خُزَيْمَة َ 1 . 1 – حسن. رواه الدارقطني (194)، وابن خزيمة (192)، وهو وإن كان ضعيف السند، إلا أن له شواهد ذكرتها “بالأصل” ومن أجل ذلك حسنة البخاري، كما نقل عنه الترمذي في “العلل”.

    Narrated Abu Bakra (rad): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) gave permission for the traveller to perform Mash (wiping) over his leather socks for three days and nights and for a non-traveller for a day and night, if he had put them on in a state of purity. [Reported by Ad-Daraqutni and graded Sahih (sound) by Ibnn Khuzaima].

    وَعَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ عِمَارَةَ – رضى الله عنه – أَنَّهُ قَالَ: { يَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ أَمْسَحُ عَلَى اَلْخُفَّيْنِ? قَالَ: “نَعَمْ” قَالَ: يَوْمًا? قَالَ: “نَعَمْ”, قَالَ: وَيَوْمَيْنِ? قَالَ: “نَعَمْ”, قَالَ: وَثَلَاثَةً? قَالَ: “نَعَمْ, وَمَا شِئْتَ” أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَقَالَ: لَيْسَ بِالْقَوِيِّ } 1 . 1 – ضعيف. رواه أبو داود (158).

    Narrated Ubai bin ‘Imara (rad): I asked, “O Messenger of Allah, may I wipe over the Khuffain (leather socks)?” The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) replied, “Yes”. I asked, “For one day?” He replied, “For one day”, I again asked, “And for two days?” He replied “For two day s too”. I again asked “And for three days” He replied, “Yes, as long as you wish”. [Reported by Abu Da’ud, who said, “It is not strong”]

    وَعَنْ طَلْحَةَ بْنِ مُصَرِّفٍ, عَنْ أَبِيهِ, عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ: { رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَ اَلْمَضْمَضَةِ وَالِاسْتِنْشَاقِ. } أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ بِإِسْنَادِ ضَعِيف ٍ 1 . 1 – ضعيف. رواه أبو داود (139).

    Narrated Talha bin Musarrif, quoting his father on the authority of his grandfather: “I saw Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) rinsing his mouth and sniffing up and blowing his nose with separate scops of water.” [Reported by Abu Da’ud with a weak chain of narrators].
