Chapter: How Jibril Led The Prayer And The Definition Of The Times Of The Five Daily Prayers
أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا خَالِدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى أَنْ يُصَلَّى مَعَ طُلُوعِ الشَّمْسِ أَوْ غُرُوبِهَا .
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade praying when the sun is rising or setting.
