    وَالْمَحْفُوظُ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ مِنْ فِعْلِهَا, وَقَالَتْ: { إِنَّهُ لَا يَشُقُّ عَلَيَّ } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلْبَيْهَقِيّ ُ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البيهقي (3/143) عن عروة، عن عائشة رضي الله عنها؛ أنها كانت تصلي في السفر أربعا. فقلت لها: لو صليت ركعتين، فقالت: يا ابن أختي إنه لا يشق علي. قلت: وقد ثبت عنها رضي الله عنها أنها كانت تتم، كما في: “الصحيحين” وقد ذكرت ذلك “بالأصل”.

    The Mahfudh (correct) narration from ‘Aishah (RA) (concerning this matter) is that it was her practice (that she (RA) offered prayers in the complete form during travelling) [and not the practice of the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم)]. She said: ‘It is not hard for me.’ [al-Baihaqi reported it].

    وَعَنْ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ إِنَّ اَللَّهَ يُحِبُّ أَنْ تُؤْتَى 1 رُخَصُهُ كَمَا يَكْرَهُ أَنْ تُؤْتَى 2 مَعْصِيَتُهُ } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ, وَابْنُ حِبَّانَ . 3 . 1 – في “أ”: “يؤتى” وهو تحريف. 2 – في “أ”: “يؤتى” وهو تحريف. 3 – صحيح. رواه أحمد (2/108)، وابن خزيمة (950)، وابن حبان (2742).

    Narrated Ibn ‘Umar (RA): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Allah the Most High loves that His permissions be practiced, just as he dislikes that disobedience to Him be committed.” [Ahmad reported it. Ibn Khuzaimah and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic)].

    وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: { كَمَا يُحِبُّ أَنْ تُؤْتَى 1 عَزَائِمُهُ } 2 . 1 – في “أ”: “يؤتى” وهو تحريف. 2 – صحيح. رواه ابن حبان (354) من حديث ابن عباس.

    A narration has, “As He loves that His… duties be observed.”

    وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -إِذَا خَرَجَ مَسِيرَةَ ثَلَاثَةِ أَمْيَال ٍ 1 أَوْ فَرَاسِخَ, صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ . 2 . 1 – في “أ”: “أيام”، وكتب بالهامش: صوابه: “أميال”. 2 – صحيح. رواه مسلم (691).

    Narrated Anas (RA): When Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) went out on a journey of three miles or three Farasikh, he (صلى الله عليه وسلم) used to pray two Rak’at. [Reported by Muslim]. Farasikh (plural of Farsakh) is Persian unit of distance. Farsakh is equal to about three miles.

    وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: { خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -مِنْ اَلْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى مَكَّةَ، فَكَانَ يُصَلِّي رَكْعَتَيْنِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ حَتَّى رَجَعْنَا إِلَى اَلْمَدِينَةِ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ, وَاللَّفْظُ لِلْبُخَارِيِّ . 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري (1081)، ومسلم (693) من حديث أنس، وعند البخاري. قلت: أقمتم بمكة شيئا؟ قال: أقمنا بها عشرا. ولمسلم نحوه.

    Narrated [Anas (RA)]: We went from al-Madinah to Makkah with Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and he prayed two Rak’at at each time of prayer till we returned to al-Madinah. [Agreed upon, and the wording is al-Bukhari’s].

    وَعَنْ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: { أَقَامَ اَلنَّبِيُّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -تِسْعَةَ عَشَرَ يَقْصُرُ } وَفِي لَفْظٍ: { بِمَكَّةَ تِسْعَةَ عَشَرَ يَوْمًا } رَوَاهُ اَلْبُخَارِيّ ُ 1 . 1 – صحيح. اللفظ الأول. رواه البخاري (1080)، واللفظ الثاني عنده برقم (4298).

    Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas (RA): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) (made a journey during which) he had a stop of nineteen days, during which he shortened his prayers. [Al-Bukhari] And in a narration: “(he (صلى الله عليه وسلم) stayed) nineteen days in Makkah.”

    عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: { أَوَّلُ مَا فُرِضَتْ اَلصَّلَاةُ رَكْعَتَيْنِ , فَأُقِرَّتْ صَلَاةُ اَلسَّفَرِ وَأُتِمَّتْ صَلَاةُ اَلْحَضَرِ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري (1090)، ومسلم (685).

    Narrated ‘Aishah (RA) that when the Salat (prayer) was first prescribed, it consisted of two Rak’at. Afterwards, the prayer during travelling was confirmed (as two Rak’at), while the prayer at the place of residence was completed (as four Rak’at). [Agreed upon].

    وَعَنْ وَابِصَةَ بْنِ مَعْبَدٍ ]اَلْجُهَنِيِّ] – رضى الله عنه – أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ رَأَى رَجُلًا يُصَلِّي خَلْفَ اَلصَّفِّ وَحْدَهُ, فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يُعِيدَ اَلصَّلَاةَ. } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ, وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَحَسَّنَهُ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ . 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه أحمد (4/228)، وأبو داود (682)، والترمذي (230)، وابن حبان (2198 و 2199 و 2200) وقال الترمذي: “حديث حسن”. قلت: وللحديث طرق تفصيلها بالأصل.

    Narrated Wabisah bin Ma’bad: Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) saw a man praying alone behind the row so he ordered him to repeat the Salat (prayer). [Reported by Ahmad, Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi. The latter graded it Hasan, and Ibn Hibban graded it Sahih (authentic)].

    وَلَهُ عَنْ طَلْق ٍ 1 { لَا صَلَاةَ لِمُنْفَرِدٍ خَلْفَ اَلصَّفِّ } 2 . 1 – كذا الأصل، وهو وهم كما سيأتي. 2 – صحيح. رواه ابن حبان (2202)، عن علي بن شيبان، قال: قدمنا على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فصلينا خلف رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فلما قضى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، صلاته إذا رجل فرد، فوقف عليه نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، حتى قضى الرجل صلاته، ثم قال له نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: “استقبل صلاتك، فإنه لا صلاة لفرد خلف الصف”. وأما قول الحافظ: “عن طلق” فهو وهم منه رحمه الله.

    Ibn Hibban reported this from Talq [bin ‘Ali (RA)]: “The prayer of a person who prays alone behind the row is not accepted.

    +420- وَزَادَ اَلطَّبَرَانِيُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ وَابِصَةَ: { أَلَا دَخَلْتَ مَعَهُمْ أَوْ اِجْتَرَرْتَ رَجُلًا? } 1 . 1 – موضوع. رواه الطبراني في “الكبير” (22/145-146/394) من طريق السري بن إسماعيل، عن الشعبي، عن وابصة به. وآفته السري بن إسماعيل، وهو أحد الكاذبين الكبار الذي لا دين لهم ولا ورع، كان يكذب على الشعبي، وما الغضاضة في ذلك وهو يكذب على النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، ألا قبحه الله. والعجب من الحافظ رحمه الله كيف سكت على هذا الحديث!.

    And at-Tabarani added to the narration of Wabisah, “Why did you not join them or pull back a man (to your position)?”
