    وَعَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ : قَالَ لَنَا اَلنَّبِيُّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ وَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ اَلصَّلَاةُ فَلْيُؤَذِّنْ لَكُمْ أَحَدُكُمْ . . . } اَلْحَدِيثَ أَخْرَجَهُ اَلسَّبْعَةُ . 1 1 – صحيح . رواه البخاري (628) ، ومسلم (674) ، وأبو داود (589) ، والنسائي (2/9) ، والترمذي (205) ، وابن ماجه (9799) ، وأحمد (3/436 و5/53) وله ألفاظ ، وهو عند بعضهم مطولا ، وعند بعضهم مختصرا . وزاد البخاري في بعض رواياته : “وصلوا كما رأيتموني أصلي” وهي عند أحمد بلفظ : “كما تروني أصلي” ، وليست هذه الزيادة عند أحد من أصحاب الكتب الستة سوى البخاري . وانظر رقم (327) .

    Narrated Malik bin al-Huwairith (RA): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said to us, “When the time of Salat (prayer) comes, one of you should announce the Adhan.” [Reported by as-Sab’ah].

    وَأَصْلِهِ فِي اَلصَّحِيحَيْنِ 1 . 1 – قلت. هو في البخاري (634)، ومسلم (503)، عن ابن أبي جحيفة، عن أبيه؛ أنه رأى بلالا يؤذن. قال: فجعلت أتتبع فاه هاهنا وهاهنا.

    وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ – رضى الله عنه – أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ لِبِلَالٍ : { إِذَا أَذَّنْتَ فَتَرَسَّلْ , وَإِذَا أَقَمْتُ فَاحْدُرْ , وَاجْعَلْ بَيْنَ أَذَانِكَ وَإِقَامَتِكَ قَدْرَ مَا يَفْرُغُ اَلْآكِلُ مِنْ أَكْلِهِ } اَلْحَدِيثَ . رَوَاهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَضَعَّفَهُ . 1 . 1 – منكر . رواه الترمذي (1959) ، وتمامه : “والشارب من شربه ، والمعتصر إذا دخل لقضاء حاجته ، ولا تقوموا حتى تروني” . وقال الترمذي : “حديث جابر هذا حديث لا نعرفه إلا من هذا الوجه ، من حديث عبد المنعم ، وهو إسناد مجهول ، وعبد المنعم : شيخ بصري” . قلت: عبد المنعم : هو ابن نعيم الأسواري ، وهو منكر الحديث كما قال البخاري وأبو حاتم .

    Narrated Jabir (RA): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said to Bilal, “When you announce the Adhan, utter deliberately and when you pronounce the Iqamah utter quickly, and leave between your Adhan and your Iqamah time for one who is eating to finish his food.” [Reported by at-Tirmidhi who graded it Da’if (weak)].

    وَعَنْ أَبِي مَحْذُورَةَ – رضى الله عنه – { أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -أَعْجَبَهُ صَوْتُهُ, فَعَلَّمَهُ اَلْآذَانَ } رَوَاهُ اِبْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ 1 . 1 – رواه ابن خزيمة (377).

    Narrated Abu Mandhura (RA): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) liked his voice, so he taught him the Adhan (call to prayer). [Reported by Ibn Khuzaimah].

    وَلَهُ : عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ – رضى الله عنه – أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ : { لَا يُؤَذِّنُ إِلَّا مُتَوَضِّئٌ } وَضَعَّفَهُ أَيْضًا 1 . فَالْحَدِيثُ ضَعِيفٌ مَرْفُوعًا وَمَوْقُوفًا . 1 – ضعيف . رواه الترمذي (200) وضعفه بالانقطاع بين الزهري وبين أبي هريرة . قلت : ورواه أيضا (201) موقوفا على أبي هريرة – ولا يصح أيضا – بلفظ : “لا ينادي بالصلاة إلا متوضئ “.

    He also reported from Abu Hurairah (RA): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “No one should announce Adhan except the one who has performed the ablution”. [Reported by at-Tirmidhi who graded it Da’if (weak)]. So the narration is weak whether Marfu’ [reaching back to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم)] or Mawquf (saying of a Companion).

    وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: { صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ اَلنَّبِيِّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -اَلْعِيدَيْنِ, غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ وَلَا مَرَّتَيْنِ, بِغَيْرِ أَذَانٍ وَلَا إِقَامَةٍ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه مسلم (887).

    Narrated Jabir bin Samurah (RA): I prayed with the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) the two ‘Eids, not only once or twice, without an Adhan or an Iqamah. [Reported by Muslim].

    وَلَهُ : عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ اَلْحَارِثِ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ وَمَنْ أَذَّنَ فَهُوَ يُقِيمُ } وَضَعَّفَهُ أَيْضًا 1 . 1 – ضعيف . رواه الترمذي (199) وقال : “حديث زياد إنما نعرفه من حديث الإفريقي ، والإفريقي ضعيف عند أهل الحديث”. قلت: نعم هذا هو الصواب ، وإن خالف بعضهم في ذلك كالعلامة أحمد شاكر -رحمه الله- الذي وثقه ، وصحح حديثه ، وكالحازمي الذي حسن حديثه.

    He also reported from Ziyad bin al-Harith (RA): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “The one who announces the Adhan should also pronounce the Iqamah.” [Reported by at-Tirmidhi who graded it Da’if (weak)].

    وَمِثْلُهُ لِلدَّارَقُطْنِيّ عَنْ اِبْنِ عَمْرِوِ بْنِ اَلْعَاصِ 1 . 1 – صحيح بما قبله. ورواه الدارقطني (1/419/3) ولفظه: “لا صلاة بعد صلاة الفجر إلا ركعتين”.

    A narration of ad-Daraqutni narrated by Amr bin al-‘Aas is similar to the one above.

    وَعَنْ أَمْ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: { صَلَّى رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -اَلْعَصْرَ, ثُمَّ دَخَلَ بَيْتِي, فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ, فَسَأَلْتُهُ, فَقَالَ: “شُغِلْتُ عَنْ رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ اَلظُّهْرِ, فَصَلَّيْتُهُمَا اَلْآنَ”, قُلْتُ: أَفَنَقْضِيهِمَا إِذَا فَاتَتْنَا? قَالَ: “لَا” } أَخْرَجَهُ أَحْمَدُ 1 . 1 – ضعيف. رواه أحمد (6/315) وفي “الأصل” بيان علة الضعف مع الرد على تحسين الشيخ عبد العزيز بن باز -حفظه الله- للحديث في تعليقه على “الفتح” (2 /65).

    Narrated Umm Salamah (RA): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) came to my house after offering ‘Asr prayer and offered two Rak’a, then I asked him about that and he replied, “I was kept busy (and failed to pray) the two (Sunnah) Rak’a after Zuhr prayer, so I offered them now.” I asked him, “Should we offer them if we miss them?” He (صلى الله عليه وسلم) replied, “No.” [Reported by Ahmad].
