    وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ – رضى الله عنه – [ قَالَ ]: سَمِعْتُ اَلنَّبِيَّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم – 1 يَقُولُ: { ” كَيْفَ تُقَدَّسُ أُمَّةٌ, لَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْ شَدِيدِهِمْ لِضَعِيفِهِمْ ?” } رَوَاهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ 2 . 1 – وفي “أ” : “رسول الله” وأشار الناسخ في الهامش إلى نسخة: “النبي” . 2 – صحيح. رواه ابن حبان ( 1554 ). تنبيه: هذا الحديث وما بعده من شواهد تصححه، وإن كانت أسانيدها لا تخلو من ضعف، وتفصيل ذلك في “الأصل” .

    Narrated Jabir (RA): I heard Allah’s Messenger (SAW0 saying, “How could an Ummah (people) be purified (of its sins) where the right of its weak is not taken from its strong.” [Reported by Ibn Hibban].

    It has a Shahid (supporting narration) from the Hadith of Buraida, reported by al-Bazzar.

    وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَقُولُ: { ” يُدْعَى بِالْقَاضِي اَلْعَادِلِ يَوْمَ اَلْقِيَامَةِ, فَيَلْقَى مِنْ شِدَّةِ اَلْحِسَابِ مَا يَتَمَنَّى أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَقْضِ بَيْنَ اِثْنَيْنِ فِي عُمْرِهِ” } رَوَاهُ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ 1 وَأَخْرَجَهُ اَلْبَيْهَقِيُّ, وَلَفْظُهُ:  { فِي تَمْرَةٍ } 2 . 1 – ضعيف. رواه ابن حبان ( 1563 ). 2 – وهو كذلك عند أحمد في “المسند” ( 6 / 75 ).

    Narrated ‘Aishah (RA): I heard Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) saying, “the just Qadi (judge) will be called (forth) on the Day of Resurrection and he will wish he had never given judgement even between two men throughout his life, due to the severity of the account he will face.” [Reported by Ibn Hibban. al-Baihaqi reported it with the wording: “…concerning a single tamrah (date fruit).

    وَعَنْهُ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ “إِنَّكُمْ سَتَحْرِصُونَ عَلَى اَلْإِمَارَةِ, وَسَتَكُونُ نَدَامَةً يَوْمَ اَلْقِيَامَةِ, فَنِعْمَ اَلْمُرْضِعَةُ, وَبِئْسَتِ اَلْفَاطِمَةُ” } رَوَاهُ اَلْبُخَارِيُّ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 7148 ).

    Narrated [Abu Hurairah (RA)]: Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “You will eagerly seek out the office of governorship, but it will become a cause of regret on the Day of Resurrection. How excellent it is as a Murdi’ah (wet nurse)! And how evil it is as a Fatimah (one who weans)! [Reported by al-Bukhari].

    وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ – رضى الله عنه – أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَقُولُ: { “إِذَا حَكَمَ اَلْحَاكِمُ, فَاجْتَهَدَ, ثُمَّ أَصَابَ, فَلَهُ أَجْرَانِ. وَإِذَا حَكَمَ, فَاجْتَهَدَ, ثُمَّ أَخْطَأَ, فَلَهُ أَجْرٌ” } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 7352 )، ومسلم ( 1716 ).

    Narrated ‘Amr bin al-‘Aas (RA): He heard Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) say, “When a judge gives a ruling, having tried his best to decide correctly, and is right (in his decision), he will have a double reward; and when he gives a ruling having tried his best to decide correctly, and is wrong (in his decision), he will have a single reward.” [Agreed upon].

    وَعَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَقُولُ: { ” لَا يَحْكُمُ أَحَدٌ بَيْنَ اِثْنَيْنِ, وَهُوَ غَضْبَانُ” } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 7158 )، ومسلم ( 1717 ) عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي بكرة قال: كتب أبي – وكتبت له – إلى عبيد الله بن أبي بكرة، وهو قاض بسجستان: أن لا تحكم ( بخاري: لا تقضي ) بين اثنين وأنت غضبان، فإني سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: فذكره. والسياق لمسلم، وللبخاري: ” لا يقضين حكم” والباقي مثله سواء.

    Narrated Abu Bakrah (RA): I heard Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) say, “No judge should give judgement between two people while he is angry.” [Agreed upon].

    وَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: { نَذَرَتْ أُخْتِي أَنْ تَمْشِيَ إِلَى بَيْتِ اَللَّهِ حَافِيَةً, فَقَالَ اَلنَّبِيُّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم – “لِتَمْشِ وَلْتَرْكَبْ” } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ, وَاللَّفْظُ لِمُسْلِمٍ. 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 1866 )، ومسلم ( 1644 )، وهو نفس لفظ البخاري سوى قوله: “حافية” . وعندهما قول عقبة: فأمرتني أن أستفتي لها النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فاستفتيته.

    Narrated ‘Uqba bin ‘Aamir (RA): His sister took a vow to walk to Allah’s House (for pilgrimage) barefooted. Then, she ordered him to consult Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم), so he consulted him for a religious verdict and the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) replied, “Let her walk and ride.” [Agreed upon, and the wording is Muslim’s].

    وَلِلْخَمْسَةِ. 1 فَقَالَ: { ” إِنَّ اَللَّهَ لَا يَصْنَعُ بِشَقَاءِ أُخْتِكَ شَيْئاً, مُرْهَا: [ فَلْتَخْتَمِرْ ], وَلْتَرْكَبْ, وَلْتَصُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ” } 2 . 1 – كذا “بالأصلين” وأشار ناسخ “أ” في الهامش إلى نسخة: “أحمد والأربعة” . 2 – منكر. رواه أحمد ( 4 / 143 و 145 و 149 ) وأبو داود ( 3293 )، والنسائي ( 7 / 20 )، والترمذي ( 1544 )، وابن ماجه ( 2134 ). قال الترمذي: ” هذا حديث حسن” . قلت: بل ضعيف؛ فإن في سنده عبيد الله بن زحر، وهو “ضعيف. منكر الحديث” ، وذكر الذهبي في “الميزان” هذا الحديث من منكراته.

    Ahmad and al-Arba’a have: He said, “Verily! Allah, the Most High, will not do anything with the affliction your sister imposes on herself. Command her to cover her head and to ride, and to fast three days.”

    وَعَنْ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: { اِسْتَفْتَى سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ – رضى الله عنه – رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -فِي نَذْرٍ كَانَ عَلَى أُمِّهِ, تُوُفِّيَتْ قَبْلِ أَنْ تَقْضِيَهُ ? فَقَالَ: “اِقْضِهِ عَنْهَا” } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ 1 . 1 – . صحيح. رواه البخاري ( 2761 )، ومسلم ( 1638 ).

    Narrated Ibn Abbas (RA): Sa’d bin Ubada asked Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) for a ruling regarding a vow taken by his mother who had died before fulfilling it, and he said, “Fulfill it on her behalf.” [Agreed upon].
