    وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ أُخْرَى : قَالَ عَبْدُ اَللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ : { فَرَدَّهَا عَلَيَّ , وَلَمْ يَرَهَا شَيْئًا , وَقَالَ : ” إِذَا طَهُرَتْ فَلْيُطَلِّقْ أَوْ لِيُمْسِكْ } 1 . 1 – صحيح . وهي عند مسلم برقم ( 1471) (14) . إلا أن قوله : “ولم يرها شيئا” ليست في ” الصحيح ” وإنما هي عند أبي داود ( 2185 ) من نفس الطريق ، ولكن أعله أبو داود بأبي الزبير ، وهو إعلال مردود ؛ إذ أبو الزبير في نفسه ” ثقة ” ولا يخشى إلا من تدليسه ، وهو منتف هنا.

    Another narration [of Muslim] has: “Abdullah bin ‘Umar (RA) said: ‘So he returned her to me and did not regarded it as anything, and said: When she is purified, either divorce her or keep her.’”

    وَعَنِ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ – رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا- قَالَ : { كَانَ اَلطَّلَاقُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ , وَسَنَتَيْنِ مِنْ خِلَافَةِ عُمَرَ , طَلَاقُ اَلثَّلَاثِ وَاحِدَةٌ , فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ اَلْخَطَّابِ : إِنَّ اَلنَّاسَ قَدْ اِسْتَعْجَلُوا فِي أَمْرٍ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ فِيهِ أَنَاةٌ , فَلَوْ أَمْضَيْنَاهُ عَلَيْهِمْ ? فَأَمْضَاهُ عَلَيْهِمْ } . رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ 1 . 1 – صحيح . رواه مسلم ( 1472 ).

    Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas (RA): In the time of Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم), Abu Bakr (RA) and the first two years of the caliphate of ‘Umar (RA), the three pronouncements of divorce were regarded as one divorce. So ‘Umar said, “People have made haste in an affair which they are required to take slowly. What if we execute it on them.” So, he executed it on them. [Reported by Muslim].

    وَعَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ قَالَ : { أُخْبِرَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ اِمْرَأَتَهُ ثَلَاثَ تَطْلِيقَاتٍ جَمِيعًا , فَقَامَ غَضْبَانَ ثُمَّ قَالَ : ” أَيُلْعَبُ بِكِتَابِ اَللَّهِ تَعَالَى , وَأَنَا بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِكُمْ” . حَتَّى قَامَ رَجُلٌ , فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ ! أَلَا أَقْتُلُهُ ? } رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَرُوَاتُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ 1 . 1 – ضعيف . رواه النسائي ( 6 / 142 – 143) ، ورواته ثقات ، ولكنه من رواية مخرمة بن بكير ، عن أبيه ، ولم يسمع منه.

    Narrated Mahmud bin Labid (RA): WHen Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) was informed about a man who had divorced his wife with all three pronouncements (without any interval between them), he stood up in anger and said, ‘Is Allah’s Book being played with while I am among you?” As a result a man got up and said, “O Allah’s Messenger, shall I kill him?” [Reported by an-Nasa’i; its narrators are reliable (thiqah)].

    وَعَنِ اِبْنِ عَبَّاسٍ – رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا- قَالَ : { طَلَّقَ أَبُو رُكَانَةَ أُمَّ رُكَانَةَ . فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -” رَاجِعِ امْرَأَتَكَ ” , فَقَالَ : إِنِّي طَلَّقْتُهَا ثَلَاثًا. قَالَ : ” قَدْ عَلِمْتُ , رَاجِعْهَا } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ 1 . 1 – ضعيف . رواه أبو داود (2196) بسند ضعيف.

    Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas (RA): Abu Rukana divorced Umm Rukana. So Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) told him, “Take your wife back.” And he replied, “I have divorced her with three pronouncements.” He said, “I have understood, take her back.” [Reported by Abu Dawud].

    وَفِي لَفْظٍ لِأَحْمَدَ : { طَلَّقَ أَبُو رُكَانَةَ اِمْرَأَتَهُ فِي مَجْلِسٍ وَاحِدٍ ثَلَاثًا , فَحَزِنَ عَلَيْهَا , فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -” فَإِنَّهَا وَاحِدَةٌ } وَفِي سَنَدِهَا اِبْنُ إِسْحَاقَ , وَفِيهِ مَقَالٌ 1 . 1 – ضعيف . رواه أحمد (165) وليست علته في ابن إسحاق ، وإنما له علة أخرى.

    A wording by Ahmad has: Abu Rukana divorced his wife with three pronouncements, in one sitting. Then, he was grieved about her and Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) told him, “They (the three pronouncements) are reckoned as a single (utterance of divorce).” [The two Ahadith have Ibn Ishaq, in their chains of narrators, and his reliability has been questioned].

    عَنِ اِبْنِ عُمَرَ – رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا- قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ أَبْغَضُ اَلْحَلَالِ عِنْدَ اَللَّهِ اَلطَّلَاقُ } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ , وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ , وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلْحَاكِمُ , وَرَجَّحَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ إِرْسَالَهُ 1 . 1 – ضعيف . رواه أبو داود ( 2177 و 2178 ) ، وابن ماجه ( 2018 ) ، والحاكم ( 2 / 169 ) موصولا ومرسلا . وانظر ” العلل ” لابن أبي حاتم ( 1 / 431 ).

    Narrated Ibn ‘Umar (RA): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “The lawful thing which Allah hates most is divorce.” [Reported by Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah, al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic), while Abu Hatim held the stronger view is that it is Mursal (missing link after the Tabi’i)].

    وَعَنْ عُرْوَةَ قَالَ : { قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ : يَا اِبْنَ أُخْتِي ! كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -لَا يُفَضِّلُ بَعْضَنَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ فِي اَلْقَسْمِ مِنْ مُكْثِهِ عِنْدَنَا , وَكَانَ قَلَّ يَوْمٌ إِلَّا وَهُوَ يَطُوفُ عَلَيْنَا جَمِيعًا , فَيَدْنُو مِنْ كُلِّ اِمْرَأَةٍ مِنْ غَيْرِ مَسِيسٍ , حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ اَلَّتِي هُوَ يَوْمُهَا , فَيَبِيتَ عِنْدَهَا } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ , وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ , وَصَحَّحَهُ اَلْحَاكِم ُ 1 . 1 – حسن . رواه أحمد ( 6 / 107 – 108 ) ، وأبو داود ( 2135 ) ، والحاكم ( 2 / 186 ) وتمامه كما عند أبي داود : ” ولقد قالت سودة بنت زمعة حين أسنت ، وفرقت أن يفارقها رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- : يا رسول الله ! يومي لعائشة ، فقبل ذلك رسول الله -صلى الله عليه وسلم- منها . قالت : نقول في ذلك : أنزل الله تعالى فيها وفي أشباهها – أراه قال : – ” وإن امرأة خافت من بعلها نشوزا ” . قلت : وقوله : ” من غير مسيس ” ، أي : من غير جماع ، كما جاء في بعض الروايات : ” بغير وقاع ” ، وإلا فاللمس والتقبيل لا شيء فيهما ، وعلى ذلك أيضا تدل رواية أحمد ، ففيها : ” فيدنو ويلمس من غير مسيس “.

    Narrated ‘Urwah (RA): ‘Aishah (RA) said: “O my nephew, Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) would not prefer some of us over others regarding the division of the time he would spend with us. It was very rare that he would not visit us all, and come near each of his wives without having intercourse with her, till he reached the one whose day it was, and spent the night with her.” [Reported by Ahmad and Abu Dawud, the wording is Abu Dawud’s. al-Hakim graded it Sahih (authentic)].

    وَلِمُسْلِمٍ : عَنْ عَائِشَةَ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا- قَالَتْ : { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -إِذَا صَلَّى اَلْعَصْرَ دَارَ عَلَى نِسَائِهِ , ثُمَّ يَدْنُو مِنْهُنَّ } اَلْحَدِيث َ 1 . 1 – صحيح . رواه مسلم ( 1474 ) ( 21 ) ، وهو أيضا عند البخاري في مواطن منها ( 5268 ) ، ولكن اللفظ لمسلم . فعلى عادة المصنف كان حقه – رحمه الله – أن يقول : متفق عليه واللفظ لمسلم.

    Muslim reported ‘Aishah (RA) as saying: “When Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) offered the ‘Asr (afternoon) prayer, he would visit his wives in turn, then come close to them (kiss or hug them).” [The narrator reported the rest of the Hadith previous].

    وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا- { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -كَانَ يَسْأَلُ فِي مَرَضِهِ اَلَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ : ” أَيْنَ أَنَا غَدًا ? ” , يُرِيدُ : يَوْمَ عَائِشَةَ , فَأَذِنَ لَهُ أَزْوَاجُهُ يَكُونُ حَيْثُ شَاءَ , فَكَانَ فِي بَيْتِ عَائِشَةَ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ 1 . 1 – صحيح . رواه البخاري ( 5217 ) ، ومسلم ( 2443 ) واللفظ للبخاري ، وتمامه عنده : ” حتى مات عندها . قالت عائشة : فمات في اليوم الذي كان يدور علي فيه في بيتي ، فقبضه الله ، وإن رأسه لبين نحري وسحري ، وخالط ريقه ريقي “.

    Narrated ‘Aishah (RA): During the illness of which Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) died, he was asking, “Where shall I be tomorrow?” He desired that it would be ‘Aishah’s day. His wives therefore permitted him to stay where he wished, and he stayed in ‘Aishah’s house. [Agreed upon].

    وَعَنْهَا قَالَتْ : { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -إِذَا أَرَادَ سَفَرًا أَقْرَعَ بَيْنَ نِسَائِهِ , فَأَيَّتُهُنَّ خَرَجَ سَهْمُهَا , خَرَجَ بِهَا } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ 1 . 1 – صحيح . رواه البخاري (2593) ، ومسلم ( 2770 ) وهو طرف من حديث الإفك.

    Narrated [‘Aishah (RA)]: When Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) intended to go on a journey, he cast lots among his wives. Then, he would take with him the one who was chosen by the lot. [Agreed upon].
