وَمِثْلُهُ فِي حَدِيثِ رِفَاعَةَ عِنْدَ أَحْمَدَ وَابْنِ حِبَّانَ 1 1 – يريد قوله : “ثم ارفع حتى تطمئن قائما” . قلت: هي عند أحمد (4/340) بسند صحيح ، وأما عزوها لابن حبان فما أظنه إلا وهما .
And in the narration of Ibn Hibban and Ahmad the Hadith of Rifa’a bin Rafi’ bin Malik is similar to the above.
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ : { بَعَثَ اَلنَّبِيُّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -خَيْلاً , فَجَاءَتْ بِرَجُلٍ , فَرَبَطُوهُ بِسَارِيَةٍ مِنْ سَوَارِي اَلْمَسْجِدِ } اَلْحَدِيثَ . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ . 1 1 – صحيح . انظر رقم (113) .
Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) sent an expedition of horsemen who came back with a man, they then tied him to one of the pillars of the mosque. [Agreed upon].
وَفِي لَفْظٍ لِأَحْمَدَ : { فَأَقِمْ صُلْبَكَ حَتَّى تَرْجِعَ اَلْعِظَامُ } 1 1 – صحيح . وهذه الرواية عند أحمد (4/340) ، وابن حبان (1787) وزادا : “إلى مفاصلها ” .
And Ahmad has: “Keep your back straight till the bones return (to their positions).”
وَعَنْهُ – رضى الله عنه – { أَنَّ عُمَرَ – رضى الله عنه – مُرَّ بِحَسَّانَ يَنْشُدُ فِي اَلْمَسْجِدِ , فَلَحَظَ إِلَيْهِ , فَقَالَ : “قَدْ كُنْتُ أَنْشُدُ , وَفِيهِ مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْكَ } . مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ . 1 1 – صحيح . رواه البخاري (3212) ، ومسلم (2485) .
Narrated [Abu Hurairah (RA)]: Umar came over Hassan while reciting poetry inside the mosque and looked at him sternly, then he (Hassan) said: “I used to recite poetry inside it (the mosque) in the presence of one who is more pious than you [i.e. the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم)]”. [Agreed upon].
وَلِلنَّسَائِيِّ , وَأَبِي دَاوُدَ مِنْ حَدِيثِ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ : { إِنَّهَا لَنْ 1 تَتِمُّ صَلَاةُ أَحَدِكُمْ حَتَّى يُسْبِغَ اَلْوُضُوءَ كَمَا أَمَرَهُ اَللَّهُ , ثُمَّ يُكَبِّرَ اَللَّهَ , وَيَحْمَدَهُ , وَيُثْنِيَ عَلَيْهِ } . 2 1 – كذا بالأصل ، وفي النسائي : “لم” ، وفي أبي داود : “لا” . 2 – صحيح . رواه أبو داود (858) ، والنسائي (2/226) .
And in the narration of an-Nasa’i and Abu Dawud from the Hadith of Rifa’a bin Rafi’: “The Salat (prayer) of one of you will not be complete until he performs Wudu’ (ablution) properly as Allah commanded him, then he says Allahu Akbar and Alhamdu lillah and praises Him.”
وَعَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ مَنْ سَمِعَ رَجُلاً يَنْشُدُ ضَالَّةً فِي اَلْمَسْجِدِ فَلْيَقُلْ : لَا رَدَّهَا اَللَّهُ عَلَيْكَ , فَإِنَّ اَلْمَسَاجِدَ لَمْ تُبْنَ لِهَذَا } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِم ٌ 1 1 – صحيح . رواه مسلم (568) .
Narrated [Abu Hurairah (RA)]: Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Whoever hears a man crying out in the mosque about something he has lost, he should say, ‘May Allah not restore it to you’, for the mosques were not built for this.” [Reported by Muslim].
وَفِيهَا 1 { فَإِنْ كَانَ مَعَكَ قُرْآنٌ فَاقْرَأْ وَإِلَّا فَاحْمَدِ اَللَّهَ , وَكَبِّرْهُ , وهلِّلْهُ } 2 1 – أي : في رواية . 2 – صحيح . رواه أبو داود (861) .
It is also mentionmed in the same Hadith, “If you know any portion of the Qur’an, read it or else say: Alhamdu lillah, Allahu Akbar and La ilaha ill-Allah.”
وَعَنْهُ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ مَنْ يَبِيعُ , أَوْ يَبْتَاعُ فِي اَلْمَسْجِدِ , فَقُولُوا : لَا أَرْبَحَ اَللَّهُ تِجَارَتَكَ } رَوَاهُ النَّسَائِيُّ , وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَحَسَّنَهُ . 1 1 – صحيح . رواه الترمذي (1321) . والنسائي في “عمل اليوم والليلة” (176) وزادا : “وإذا رأيتم من ينشد ضالة في المسجد ، فقولوا : لا رد الله عليك ” . وقال الترمذي : “حسن غريب” .
Narrated [Abu Hurairah (RA)]: Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “If you see someone buying or selling inside the mosque, say: ‘May Allah not make your trading profitable!’” [Reported by an-Nasa’i and at-Tirmidhi and the latter graded it Hasan (good)].
وَعَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ حِزَامٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ لَا تُقَامُ اَلْحُدُودُ فِي اَلْمَسَاجِدِ , وَلَا يُسْتَقَادُ فِيهَا } رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ , وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ بِسَنَدٍ ضَعِيف ٍ 1 1 – حسن . رواه أحمد (3/434) ، وأبو داود (4490) ، وإذا كان الحافظ ضعفه هنا ، فقد قال في “التلخيص” (4/78) : “لا بأس بإسناده” .
Narrated Hakim bin Hizam (RA): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Neither the prescribed punishment nor retaliations should be executed inside the mosque.” [Reported by Ahmad and Abu Dawud through a weak Sanad (chain)].
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ -رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا- قَالَتْ : { أُصِيبَ سَعْدٌ يَوْمَ اَلْخَنْدَقِ , فَضَرَبَ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -خَيْمَةً فِي اَلْمَسْجِدِ , لِيَعُودَهُ مِنْ قَرِيبٍ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ . 1 1 – صحيح . رواه البخاري (463) ، ومسلم (1769) .
Narrated ‘Aishah (RA): On the day of al-Khandaq (battle of the Trench), Sa’d was injured and Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) pitched a tent for him in the mosque to visit him from a close distance. [Agreed upon].
