    وَعَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: { قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ إِنِّي اِمْرَأَةٌ أَشُدُّ شَعْرَ رَأْسِي, أَفَأَنْقُضُهُ لِغُسْلِ اَلْجَنَابَةِ? وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ: وَالْحَيْضَةِ? فَقَالَ: “لَا, إِنَّمَا يَكْفِيكِ أَنْ تَحْثِي عَلَى رَأْسِكِ ثَلَاثَ حَثَيَاتٍ” } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِم ٌ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه مسلم (330)، وزاد: “ثم تفيضين عليك الماء فتطهرين”.

    Narrated Umm Salamah (RAA): I said, “O Messenger of Allah, I am a woman who keeps her hair closely plaited. Do I have to undo them for Ghusl after sexual intercourse?” In another narration, “and after the end of menses?” He replied (صلى الله عليه وسلم), “No, is it enough for you to throw three handfuls of water over your head.” Related by Muslim.

    وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ إِنِّي لَا أُحِلُّ اَلْمَسْجِدَ لِحَائِضٍ وَلَا جُنُبٌ } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ خُزَيْمَة َ 1 . 1 – ضعيف. رواه أبو داود (232)، وابن خزيمة (1327).

    Narrated `A’ishah (RAA): Allah’s messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “It is not permitted for a menstruating woman or one who is junub (sexually impure) to stay in the mosque.” Related by Abu Dawud and Ibn Khuzaimah graded it as Sahih

    وَعَنْهَا قَالَتْ: { كُنْتُ أَغْتَسِلُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -مِنْ إِنَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ, تَخْتَلِفُ أَيْدِينَا فِيهِ مِنَ اَلْجَنَابَةِ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ 1 . زَادَ اِبْنُ حِبَّانَ: وَتَلْتَقِ ي 2 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري (261)، ومسلم (321) (45)، وليس عند البخاري لفظه: “من الجنابة “. 2 – ابن حبان برقم (1111) وسندها صحيح، إلا أن الحافظ في “الفتح” (1/373) مال إلى أنها مدرجة.

    Narrated `A’ishah (RAA): I and Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon him) took a Ghusl (bath) due to sexual impurity from the same vessel and our hands alternated into it. [Agreed upon.] Ibn Hibban added “and (our hands) met.”

    وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ إِنَّ تَحْتَ كُلِّ شَعْرَةٍ جَنَابَةً, فَاغْسِلُوا اَلشَّعْرَ, وَأَنْقُوا اَلْبَشَرَ } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَاَلتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَضَعَّفَاه ُ 1 . 1 – منكر. رواه أبو داود (248)، والترمذي (106).

    Narrated Abu Hurairah (RAA): Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon him) said: “There is Janabah (trace of sexual impurity) under every hair, so wash your hair and cleanse the skin.” Abu Dawud and at-Tirmidhi transmitted it but they declared it to be weak.

    وَلِأَحْمَدَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ نَحْوُهُ, وَفِيهِ رَاوٍ مَجْهُول ٌ 1 . 1 – ضعيف. رواه أحمد (654).

    Ahmad transmitted a similar narration to the above, on the authority of `A’ishah (RAA), but this version has an unknown transmitter.

    عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا; أَنَّ اَلنَّبِيَّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { أُعْطِيتُ خَمْسًا لَمْ يُعْطَهُنَّ أَحَدٌ قَبْلِي: نُصِرْتُ بِالرُّعْبِ مَسِيرَةَ شَهْرٍ, وَجُعِلَتْ لِي اَلْأَرْضُ مَسْجِدًا وَطَهُورًا, فَأَيُّمَا رَجُلٍ أَدْرَكَتْهُ اَلصَّلَاةُ فَلْيُصَلِّ } وَذَكَرَ اَلْحَدِيث َ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري (335)، ومسلم (521) وتمامه: “وأحلت لي المغانم ولم تحل لأحد قبلي، وأعطيت الشفاعة، وكان النبي يبعث إلى قومه خاصة، وبعثت إلى الناس عامة” والسياق للبخاري. تنبيه: هكذا الحديث في الأصل دون ذكر من أخرجه وكتب بالهامش: لعله سقط “متفق عليه”.

    Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah (RAA): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “I have been given five things which were not given to anyone else before me. Allah made me victorious by awe (of frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month’s journey. The earth has been made for me (and my followers) a place for praying and something with which to perform Tayammum (to purify oneself for prayer). Therefore, anyone (of my followers) can pray (anywhere) and at any time that the Salat (prayer) is due.”

    وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ اِسْتَنْزِهُوا مِنْ اَلْبَوْلِ, فَإِنَّ عَامَّةَ عَذَابِ اَلْقَبْرِ مِنْهُ } رَوَاهُ اَلدَّارَقُطْنِيّ ُ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه الدارقطني (128 /7)، وله ما يشهد له .

    Narrated Abu Huraira (rad): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Beware of (smearing yourselves with) urine, because it is the main cause of punishment in the grave”. [Reported by Ad-Daraqutni]

    وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ – رضى الله عنه – أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -قَالَ: { غُسْلُ اَلْجُمُعَةِ وَاجِبٌ عَلَى كُلِّ مُحْتَلِمٍ } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلسَّبْعَة ُ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري (879)، ومسلم (846)، وأبو داود (341)، والنسائي (3/92)، وابن ماجه (1089)، وأحمد (3 /60). “تنبيه”: وهم الحافظ رحمه الله في عزوه الحديث للترمذي.

    Narrated Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri (rad): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Taking a bath on Friday is a must for every adult”. [Reported by As-Sab’a].

    وَلِلْحَاكِمِ: { أَكْثَرُ عَذَابِ اَلْقَبْرِ مِنْ اَلْبَوْلِ } وَهُوَ صَحِيحُ اَلْإِسْنَاد ِ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه الحاكم (183) وقال: “صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولا أعرف له علة، ولم يخرجاه”. وقال الذهبي: “وله شاهد”.

    and Al-Hakim reported that: “Urination is the main cause of punishment in the grave”. [Its chain of narrators is authentic].

    وَعَنْ سَمُرَةَ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ يَوْمَ اَلْجُمُعَةِ فَبِهَا وَنِعْمَتْ, وَمَنْ اِغْتَسَلَ فَالْغُسْلُ أَفْضَلُ } رَوَاهُ اَلْخَمْسَةُ, وَحَسَّنَهُ اَلتِّرْمِذِيّ ُ 1 . 1 – حسن. رواه أبو داود (354)، والترمذي (497)، والنسائي (3/94)، وأحمد (51 و 15 و 22)، وقال الترمذي: “حديث حسن”. قلت: وعزو الحافظ الحديث للخمسة وهم منه رحمه الله إذ الحديث ليس عند ابن ماجه، عن سمرة، وإنما عنده عن أنس. انظر “الجمعة وفضلها” لأبي بكر المروزي (31 بتحقيقي) والحافظ نفسه عزاه في “الفتح” لأصحاب السنن الثلاثة.

    Narrated Sumara (rad): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Whoever performs ablution on Friday has done a good thing and he who takes bath, taking bath is better (for him).” [Reported by Al-Khamsa and At-Tirmidhi graded it Hasan (fair).]
