    وَعَنْ أَنَسِ]بْنِ مَالِكٍ] – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: { قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم –فِي اَلْمَرْأَةِ تَرَى فِي مَنَامِهَا مَا يَرَى اَلرَّجُلُ- قَالَ: “تَغْتَسِلُ” } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ 1 . 1 – عزوه للمتفق عليه وهم الحافظ -رحمه الله- إذا الحديث لم يروه البخاري.

    Narrated Anas (rad): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said about the precept of a woman having ejaculation during sleep like a man, “She should take a Ghusl (bath)”. [Agreed upon]

    زَادَ مُسْلِمٌ: فَقَالَتْ أُمُّ سُلَيْم ٍ 1 { وَهَلْ يَكُونُ هَذَا? قَالَ: “نَعَمْ فَمِنْ أَيْنَ يَكُونُ اَلشَّبَهُ? } 2 . 1 – تحرف في “الأصلين” إلى “أم سلمة” وما أثبته من صحيح مسلم. 2 – صحيح. رواه مسلم ( 311 ) وهو بتمامه: عن أنس بن مالك؛ أن أم سليم سألت نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: عن المرأة ترى في منامها ما يرى الرجل؟ فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: “إذا رأت ذلك المرأة فلتغتسل” فقالت أم سليم: واستحييت من ذلك. قالت: وهل يكون هذا؟ فقال نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: “نعم. فمن أين يكون الشبه. إن ماء الرجل غليظ أبيض. وماء المرأة رقيق أصفر. فمن أيهما علا أو سبق يكون منه الشبه”.

    Added Muslim: Umm Salama said, “Does this happen (to a woman)?” He (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Yes, otherwise where does the resemblance (of a child to its mother) come from?”

    وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اَللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: { كَانَ اَلنَّبِيَّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْ أَرْبَعٍ: مِنْ اَلْجَنَابَةِ, وَيَوْمَ اَلْجُمُعَةِ, وَمِنْ اَلْحِجَامَةِ, وَمِنْ غُسْلِ اَلْمَيِّتِ } رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ, وَصَحَّحَهُ اِبْنُ خُزَيْمَة َ 1 . 1 – ضعيف. رواه أبو داود (348)، وابن خزيمة (256)، والحديث عند أبي داود من فعله، وعند ابن خزيمة من قوله!! .

    Narrated ‘Aisha (rad): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) used to take a bath from four things; after sexual intercourse, on Fridays, after extracting blood from his body and after washing a dead body. [Reported by Abu Da’ud and Ibn Khuzaima graded it Sahih (sound)]

    وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ – رضى الله عنه – { -فِي قِصَّةِ ثُمَامَةَ بْنِ أُثَالٍ, عِنْدَمَا أَسْلَم- وَأَمَرَهُ اَلنَّبِيُّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ } رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ اَلرَّزَّاق ِ 1 . 1 – صحيح. وهو في “مصنف عبد الرازق” (6/9-10/9834) وفيه: “فأمره أن يغتسل فاغتسل”.

    Narrated Abu Huraira (rad) regarding the story of Thumama bin Uthal when he embraced Islam: The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ordered him to take a bath. [Narrated by Abdur-Razzaq]

    وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ – رضى الله عنه – { أَنَّ رَسُولَ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -نَهَى “أَنْ يُسْتَنْجَى بِعَظْمٍ, أَوْ رَوْثٍ” وَقَالَ: “إِنَّهُمَا لَا يُطَهِّرَانِ” } رَوَاهُ اَلدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ وَصَحَّحَه ُ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه الدارقطني (1 /56/9) وقال: إسناد صحيح. وفي “الأصل” رد على تعليل ابن عدي للحديث.

    Narrated Abu Huraira (rad): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) forbade us to use a bone or dung for cleaning and said, “These two things do not purify”. [Reported by Ad-Daraqutni who graded it Sahih].

    وَأَصْلُهُ مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ 1 . 1 – البخاري (4372)، ومسلم (1764) من حديث أبي هريرة أيضا، وفيه: “فانطلق -أي: ثمامة- إلى نخل قريب من المسجد، فاغتسل”.

    and its origin is in Al-Bukhari and Muslim.

    وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -إِذَا دَخَلَ اَلْخَلَاءَ قَالَ: “اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ اَلْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ” } أَخْرَجَهُ اَلسَّبْعَة ُ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري (142)، ومسلم (375)، وأبو داود (4)، والترمذي (5)، والنسائي (10)، وابن ماجه (296)، أحمد (3/99 و 101 و 282).

    Narrated Anas (rad): The Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) on entering the lavatory used to say: [Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal khubthi wal khaba’ithi] “O Allah, I seek refuge with You from devils – males and females (or all offensive and wicked things, evil deeds and evil spirits, etc.)” [Reported by As-Sab’a]

    وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: { كَانَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -يَدْخُلُ اَلْخَلَاءَ, فَأَحْمِلُ أَنَا وَغُلَامٌ نَحْوِي إِدَاوَةً مِنْ مَاءٍ وَعَنَزَةً, فَيَسْتَنْجِي بِالْمَاءِ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري (150)، ومسلم (271)، (70) واللفظ لمسلم. والعنزة: رميح بين العصا والرمح، فيه زج.

    Narrated Anas (rad): Whenever Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) went to the privy, a servant and I used to carry a skin water container and a spear, and he would cleanse himself with the water. [Agreed upon].

    وَعَنْ اَلْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: { قَالَ لِي اَلنَّبِيُّ – صلى الله عليه وسلم – “خُذِ اَلْإِدَاوَةَ” . فَانْطَلَقَ حَتَّى تَوَارَى عَنِّي, فَقَضَى حَاجَتَهُ } مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْه ِ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه البخاري (363)، ومسلم (274) (77).

    Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu’ba (rad): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) told me, “Take the skin water”, he then went forward till he disappeared from me and relieved himself [Agreed upon]

    وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ – رضى الله عنه – قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اَللَّهِ – صلى الله عليه وسلم -{ اِتَّقُوا اَللَّاعِنِينَ: اَلَّذِي يَتَخَلَّى فِي طَرِيقِ اَلنَّاسِ, أَوْ فِي ظِلِّهِمْ } رَوَاهُ مُسْلِم ٌ 1 . 1 – صحيح. رواه مسلم (269).

    Narrated Abu Huraira (rad): Allah’s Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said: “Safeguard yourselves from the two matters which cause accursing that befalls the one who relieves himself on people’s path-ways and under the shades.” [Reported by Muslim].
